We are currently recruiting for the following positions:


Senior Landscape Architect

We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Senior Landscape Architect to join our design focused studio, where we are working on an expanding number of urban and public realm projects in the UK. We will consider Architects with a proven sensibility for the design and delivery of landscape architecture, public realm and master planning.

Skills and experience required:
• Diploma in Landscape Architecture, although we will consider Architects with a proven sensibility for the design and delivery of landscape architecture and public realm
• excellent design skills, alongside excellent graphic, verbal and written communication
• ability to build and maintain key client relationships
• good knowledge of planting and technical skills to develop hard landscaping details in a precise and reliable manner
• good knowledge of Revit and/or Vectorworks
• experience of Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite will be an advantage



Senior Architect

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly creative Senior Architect to join our growing team.

Skills and experience required:
• fully qualified Part III or equivalent architect with significant team leadership experience at all stages from concept to completion
• substantial UK experience in the detail design, delivery and completion of buildings to the highest standards of quality
• excellent design skills, alongside excellent graphic, verbal and written communication
• proven track record in dealing effectively with clients and project stakeholders with the ability to build and maintain key client relationships
• fluency in Revit is essential, while experience with Rhino will be an advantage
• we have openings at Senior Architect level both for full-time as well as part-time, flexible working or temporary arrangements



Architectural Assistant (Part II)

Skills and experience required:
• a minimum of two years professional work experience
• expert knowledge of Revit
• excellent design and graphic communication skills
• experience of Rhino will be an advantage



Architectural Assistants (Part I)

DSDHA are accepting applications for Part I placements commencing autumn 2019. Candidates should have excellent 2D/3D computer and model making skills, an enthusiasm for joining a dynamic and creative studio, and an interest on working on a diverse range of projects and sectors. When applying, please also provide proposed dates for a placement.



Communications and Graphics Assistant

We are looking for a highly creative, proactive and self-motivated individual who will be working as a key member of the communications team, supporting the studio across both communications and architectural projects.

Skills and experience required:

• proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and PowerPoint
• a good understanding of the print process, including knowledge of pre-press production
• great aptitude and enthusiasm for graphic layout and typography with a keen eye for detail, in both digital and print channels
• excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with senior management as well as with external collaborators and contractors
• able to show a wide range of ideas from concept to delivery in an exciting and well-presented portfolio
• a demonstrable interest in the built environment
• experience within the architectural industry will be a distinct advantage
• experience of video editing, web design, 3D software and OpenAsset will be an advantage
